AIR-Ateliers

Wil je werk maken in Utrecht in een inspirerende omgeving? Dat kan bij Metaal Kathedraal; een culturele broedplaats op een ruige, nostalgische en historische plek.

We beschikken over twee AIR-Ateliers (Artists In Residence). Woon- en werkruimte ineen dus. De wooneenheden zijn voor kunstenaars en wetenschappers die gast zijn bij het filmfestival, Gaudiamus, Vredenburg of een ander prachtig initiatief in Utrecht.

De wooneenheden kosten €550,- per maand. All in. Ex Btw.

Voor zo’n €850 per maand (Ex Btw) kan je daarnaast gebruik maken van extra ruimtes zoals de Hout & Staalwerkplaats en de Theaterwerkplaats. Op het buitenterrein van Metaal Kathedraal is er ruimte om installaties te bouwen. Wens je naast je woonruimte nóg een atelier in de buitenruimte, dan is dat uiteraard bespreekbaar.

Artists In Residence

Are you searching for a unique workplace? Metaal Kathedraal might just be the place for you!

Metaal Kathedraal is an autonomous place where artists, scientists and experts work on innovation and creativity. People with different backgrounds gather here to exchange knowledge and skills, get inspired or just have fun. The main focus is on culture/arts (e.g. graphic design, crafts, music, theater, dance) nature, sustainability, science and technology.

As an event location, festivals, ceremonies, photo shoots, seminars and many other events take place. Apart from that, it’s also possible to rent a place for work. There are regular studios (not just regular, they are special too!) to carry out your work during the day and there are AIR-studios (Artist In Residence); where work end living space are combined.

Within Metaal Kathedraal we have two of those AIR-units. They are available for a period of 1 to 3 months. Costs will be €550,- a month. All inclusive (ex taxes).

The workplace can be extended by using the Wood & Metal Workplace as well as the Theatre Workplace. Then costs will be around €850 a month (ex taxes). The outdoor space can be used for building installations. Desire even more space? This can be discussed.
